More Things About Lemuel
2007.01.15 Ten New Things about Lemuel
I was startled our of my sleep a morning or so ago by he-who-makes-Fridays-warm-and-fuzzy. He had me in a full nelson on the floor, giving me noogies and wedgies, and demanding that I agree to post something about myself before he would relent.
I’ve decided to post groups of ten things. Too much of a good thing all at once sates the appetite.
Therefore, let the drums roll, the trumpets blast, and the games begin. Here is the first round.
1. Although he likes the comfort and feel of sweatpants, depending on how you look at it, Lemuel thinks he is either too big [BRP] or too small [*wink*] to wear sweat pants.
2. Lemuel likes a little spaghetti and meatballs (or any Italian dish [including Tony {*wink*}]) with his mozarella.
3. Lemuel has almost always bought a car on a “holiday” (by coincidence). The worst car he bought (a used Jeep Cherokee), he bought on April Fool’s Day. The transmission left him down before he got it home from the notary.
4. Lemuel has flown in a commercial jet only on four occasions. One trip was for schooling; the other three were work-related.
5. Any game/sport that Lemuel plays is played for fun and not for blood-lust. If other players become too aggressive, Lemuel will quit immediately. One sport he likes to watch is ice hockey; one he would like to learn more about is rugby. Go figure.
6. There were no interior doors in the first apartment that Lemuel lived in after graduating from college (1969). Doorways were hung with strings of multi-colored beads.
7. For a dramatic production, Lemuel once played the part of a man with a fever-induced coma. All he had to do was to lie still in a bed. He could not do it. He broke into spasms of laughter in the middle of the climax to the play.
8. In all of his pursuit of education, Lemuel only took two evening (3 hour/night) course. He hated them. For the last 15+ years he has taught evening courses (4 hour/night) - sometimes more than one a week.
9. Lemuel has had Lyme Disease.
10. The most erotic sight to Lemuel is seeing two men passionately (lovingly) kiss.
